Dunno who the best are, but the most mean ones know how to use their interrupts well and the bad ones just pewpew stuff to death. There's a difference between spiking with a ranger and actually playing ranger effectively.

I think a better question would be who is the best spike caller. R-spike is all about having a good caller.

Scary (and his f-list), no doubt.
[Tv] (Cleo and her mates) just because I liked their style.
Gaga (and Shiz) was damn fun to play with, good times.

P.s. I am actually surprised Borat hasn't trolled this thread yet.

Who? Glass arrow spike is easy, so these new rspikes can't compare to the old ones.
Kind of ridiculous you can spike someone down with 2 rangers no?

Best r-spike atm, i must say unb although the spikes are to obvious, against another rspike first spike is ALWAYS on caller. on KOTH all spikes are on ghost.

Best caller Scary. It is just the fact that he doesnt want to call that much and a couple of his old rangers left the game and stuff.

Best ever, Power.

And yeah i have agree <3 TV especially Cleo, everyone that has been on vent with her must be biased

Here comes the troll!

Naah, I can easily pick out the best and worst rspikers. Tough, I stick by it: Rspike still is, to this very day, one of the easiest spikes/gimmicks to pull off. But then again, the difference between a good rspike, and a bad one can be quite large.

Good rspikes:

Most teams pre-Factions.
Passive's
Scary

Average rspikes:

uNb
mOwL
lfg
TV

Bad rspikes:

Everybody else.

Don't get mistaken tough, anybody not in the Good rspikes section completely RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin sucks. I rolled rspike a few months ago. A 5 man pug team, and we actually beat 3 rspike teams. (It was the period before Me/Rt's, but after the other Hway nerf, when 90% of HA was rspike)
uNb, mOwl and lfg.

That just puts things in perspective, people who play rspike all day every day get beaten by someone who never plays it, and has 5 pugs in his team.

I think you're confusing the dual para vPie spike (with some minor changes for HA) with a full rspike.

uNb and lfg are the only groups I really worry about. After RTW was nerfed, punishing shot rspike with OoV has hardly been ran and I always found that much more difficult than glass arrows rspike. With the later you simply shit on the weapons rit and their spike will usually drop under lethal, just takes forever to topple a backline with two HB's. The good rspikers know how to position and still get kills without all their brutal weapons and favorable winds up though. Of course, because of Murphy's law you'll always get shitty rspikers on fetid and golden gates where they are a threat.

Pretty true.

Tough, the only rspike I really feared was Scary. He honestly was a good caller that always knew how to counter my counters. He is, up to this day, still the only guy I think who could actually outplay me non-build wise.

But yeah, the main problem with rspike is the same with ritspike. They can go into defence mode, and no matter how good U are, their defence is not something you crack through in under 2 minutes. (Which is REALLY long)

And during this time, you gotta have flawless play, because 1 slip-up where they got a spike off, and all was for nothing.

The only r-spike I ever lost to were Passive's and uNb, they're the only ones that can spike clean at a constant rate, for most other r-spikes, it's fairly easy to beat them in under 4 minutes.

If you look at maps like fetid and golden gates it are strong maps for r-spike,
vs Passive or uNb it's nearly impossible to win vs them on those maps.

I'm not, i'm talking about the 3 glass arrow rspike, which still goes trough if you rupt 1 of the spikers.

rspike has always been looked at as a gimmicky build even since proph only days. is there a point pointing out the best of the lamers? like who runs the best bspike in gvg or something? unless of course there is something that makes rspike more honorable then say iway, bspike, and all the rest of the gimmicks.

Iway is the only honorable build left in HA.
